On PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch, where the game has no "Add server" button, it is the simplest way to join a server. On phone and on Windows, it is a server address book tied to your Microsoft account that follows you from one device to the next.

No. Huby recognises you through the Microsoft account already signed in to Minecraft: that is what keeps your server list. There is no sign-up, no password and no e-mail to give.

No. Huby is an independent project: it is not an official Minecraft product and is neither approved by nor associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Console names belong to their manufacturers.

On console, the Servers tab of Minecraft only lists Mojang partner servers. Typing a free address only exists on phone, tablet and Windows. Joining a friend's world, however, works everywhere, and that is the door Huby uses. The full explanation.

No, and that is the whole point. The classic method replaces the DNS in the console's network settings; it is fragile and it affects all your games. Huby goes through an Xbox friend and changes no setting at all. Why it is better without DNS.

With DNS, the console has to be redirected at the exact moment it contacts a partner server, and many things can break: ignored setting, overloaded DNS server, game update. Huby intercepts nothing: you join a friend's world, like any game with friends, and that world transfers you to the server. Put your console's DNS back to automatic and follow the guide for your device.

The Friends tab does not refresh on its own: leave it and come back, or restart the game. Check that the friend request was accepted (it usually is within a minute). If HubyOnMC is your friend but never joinable, the hub is probably under maintenance; the Discord announces it.

SileneMC is a Java server. It opens to Bedrock players thanks to Geyser, a bridge that translates the game from one edition to the other. Arriving from Huby is still being verified; the article about SileneMC explains what it changes and where things stand.

Yes. In the Huby menu, "Add a server" asks for an address and a port. The server is kept with your Microsoft account: you find it again on your next visit, on any device. It must accept Bedrock players: a Bedrock server, or a Java server running Geyser.

Consoles, phones and Minecraft for Windows play the Bedrock edition. The Java edition (PC and Mac) is a different game with a different network. A Java server can only be joined from Bedrock if it runs Geyser, and a Bedrock server cannot be joined from Java. Huby only lists servers that Bedrock can join.

No, they are two different things. A Realm is a private world rented from Mojang to play with friends. Huby creates no world: it takes you to public servers or to the ones you add. The two coexist perfectly well.

HubyOnMC is the hub's Xbox account, driven by a program: it accepts friend requests and keeps its world open, nothing else. Adding it as a friend gives it no access to your account, your worlds or your messages. You can remove it from your friends at any time.

Very little: your Xbox ID (a number, the same one any server sees) and the list of servers you added, so it can give it back on your next visit. No e-mail, no password, no ads. The details are on the privacy page.

Huby requires none. But each console has its own rules for online play, and Huby is an online game session. According to the publishers: Game Pass Core on Xbox, Nintendo Switch Online on Switch; on PlayStation, a PlayStation Plus subscription may be required. Check what the game shows on your console before subscribing.

There, the game already has an "Add server" button: add Huby with the address hubyy.fr and the port 19134. Huby then becomes a server address book shared across all your devices signed in to the same Microsoft account. Guides: phone and tablet, Windows.

Huby transferred you, and the destination server is the one refusing: full, updating, or closed to Bedrock players. Go back to Huby and try another server. If it is a Java server, its Geyser bridge may be down.

It is accepted automatically, usually within a minute. Restart the game to refresh the Friends tab. On a child account, also check that the family settings allow adding friends and multiplayer. Still nothing after ten minutes? Say so on the Discord.
