How it works
Three moves, straight from the game menu
Step 1 : Add HubyOnMC as a friend
From your console, send a friend request to the Xbox account HubyOnMC. It is accepted automatically.
Step 2 : Join them in Minecraft
In Play, Friends tab, HubyOnMC shows up as an open world. Join it: you land on Huby.
Step 3 : Pick your server
Huby shows you a list of servers. One click and the console teleports you there.
Step 1 : Open the server list
In Minecraft, go to Play, Servers tab, then "Add Server".
Step 2 : Enter Huby's address
Server name: Huby. Address: hubyy.fr. Port: 19134. Save, then join the server.
Step 3 : Pick your server
Huby shows you a list of servers. One click and the game teleports you there.
On phone, tablet and Windows you do not need a friend: just add the server hubyy.fr:19134 to your list.
Depending on the console, online play may require a subscription (details in each guide).

What is Huby?
Huby is a hub for Minecraft Bedrock: a small world that shows a list of servers and teleports you to the one you pick. On PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch, where the game has no "Add server" button, it is the simplest way to join a server. On phone and on Windows, it is a server address book tied to your Microsoft account that follows you from one device to the next.
Is Huby free?
Yes, entirely. No paid tier, no ads, no account to create. Huby is free software (GPL licence), built on the BedrockConnect and MCXboxBroadcast projects.
Why does my console have no "Add server" button?
On console, the Servers tab of Minecraft only lists Mojang partner servers. Typing a free address only exists on phone, tablet and Windows. Joining a friend's world, however, works everywhere, and that is the door Huby uses. The full explanation.
Do I have to change the console's DNS?
No, and that is the whole point. The classic method replaces the DNS in the console's network settings; it is fragile and it affects all your games. Huby goes through an Xbox friend and changes no setting at all. Why it is better without DNS.
